The Brittish-American computer programmer known for his security software has always been a bit of an eccentric character. It seems his time running from police have not changed that.
McAfee has been fleeing from authorities since 2012 because of his supposed involvement in a murder in Belize. Since that time, McAfee has apparently been traveling from port to port staying just under the radar. But now his good luck has run out.
As of July 23, his manager was sending the following tweets from McAfee’s account:
Since then, however, McAfee has been released and is now in London threatening fire and fury.
Claiming his detaining was illegal, McAfee is now promising to release information on his captors.
It’s unclear whether McAfee’s claims have any merit but that doesn’t seem to be stopping him from continuing to exploit the Dominican Republic authorities who are responsible.
As most recently as today, McAfee has already taken to tweeting at Trump, speaking their common language–Twitter Hysteria.
It is confusing as always to understand what McAfee is truly trying to gain, but I know one thing for sure–I can only assume that won’t be the last posed picture we will see in his jailcell from a man that has been on the run for the last seven years.
