Anything for the throne.

Emilia Clarke is a self-made boss woman. If you somehow don’t know that name, Emilia plays Daenerys Targaryen on HBO’s Game of Thrones. And if you’re still at a loss to recognize the actress, just know that she’s as cool as it gets, and she stans GoT as much as the rest of us.

Case in point: during a recent trip to New York City, Emilia took to the streets dressed up as Jon Snow (her co-star Kit Harrington’s character in GoT). Usually when people see cosplayers in public, they keep their distance. But Emilia Clarke running around Times Square dressed as Snow was no ordinary instance of cosplay.

While in NYC, Emilia/Snow interacted with fans, promoted the last episode of GoT, and raised awareness about her charity SameYou – an organization that helps patients rehabilitate after brain injuries and stroke. Emilia started the charity after she suffered multiple brain aneurysms during first season filiming of Game of Thrones. Those brave enough to talk to the costumed Emilia had a chance to win a private screening with her of the last ever episode of GoT.

The video below had us in stitches. Not only is Emilia a talented actress, she’s quite funny too!

What a wholesome gal. We’re lucky to have someone as brilliant as Emilia Clarke grace our TV screens for the past 8 years. While we are sad to see Clarke and the rest of the Game of Thrones cast go, we’ve still got a couple episodes left to soak up all the drama of the Seven Kingdoms!

For those of you who just can’t get enough Game of Thrones, a behind-the-scenes documentary has just been announced.
