Deek shared his experience via Youtube, titling his video ‘I joined a pyramid scheme so YOU DON’T HAVE TO’; unveiling the inner workings of the system.

Now you may be wondering what a pyramid scheme actually is. Deek calls this ‘multi-level’ marketing, in which profit is not earned by the sale of actual products, but rather by selling new distributorships. The pyramid scheme can also be known as a form of franchise fraud, and is an illegal system.

To put that more simply, take a look at this:

Filming undercover, Deek, takes us to a top-secret event, where a speaker coaches a selected audience in the practice of the pyramid scheme. Voices were de-tuned and content blurred to ensure the footage he shows remains legal.

To the viewers amusement, sitting in the audience, Deek, under his breath satirses the rhetoric that the speaker uses, silenting screaming ‘no it’s not!!!!’
