The final season of Game of Thrones is underway (why aren’t you watching yet?!) and it has only furthered fans’ needs for more. GoT‘s own Kit Harrington (Jon Snow) gave 60 Minutes’ Anderson Cooper an exclusive tour of Castle Black and it has left many breathless.
Castle Black is iconic in the world of Westeros and has a pretty amazing battle scene — season 4 episode titled “Watchers on the Wall”. Throughout all of the seasons of GoT there is a haunting and dangerous beauty that lingers over Castle Black and The Wall. The men (The Night’s Watch) that live and work there are similarly haunted and dangerous — it is, in this writer’s opinion, one of the best locations in the series.
There is also a longer piece with interviews of many of the cast members and original creator George R. R. Martin. While we only have five episodes left in this final season, it is safe to say the world of Westeros and the Iron Throne will live in our imaginations forever.
