An older video of a chef peeling the shells off of hardboiled eggs has resurfaced and this hack is genius.
Seven years ago, Chef David Bench from The Lion House Pantry, in Salt Lake City, released a video demonstrating the most efficient way to peel the shells off of hardboiled eggs for larger orders.
First, you hard-boil the eggs normally: place in boiling water, then transfer into colder water.
Next, you drain out the cold water and vigorously shake the bowl with the eggs inside, so the shells begin to crack.
Lastly, you run the eggs under more water and squeeze the shell remains between your fingertips until the egg slips out.
With the Holidays coming up, and many families expecting to host their relatives, this hack is perfect for large breakfast gatherings, or quick meals before jumping into Holiday festivities.
