Walt and Jesse reunite for a Super Bowl commercial to recreate a favorite Breaking Bad moment. Breaking Bad’ is one of the finest dramas in television history. It famously follows Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a depressed high school chemistry teacher who, faced with terminal lung cancer, teamed up with his old student, Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), to produce crystal meth—breaking Bad increased in popularity when Walt and Jesse reappeared in Better Call Saul season 6. The two protagonists are scheduled to return in a Super Bowl advertisement for PopCorners chips.

Tuco Salamanca, the terrifying drug lord played by Raymond Cruz in both Better Call Saul and Breaking Bad, will also appear in the PopCorners advertisement with Walt and Jesse. In addition to these three stars, Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan returns to direct the Super Bowl ad and the several teaser films running up to it. According to the latest teaser, they used the accurate RV inside the Breaking Bad set. In the video, Jesse struggles to start their mobile-meth lab RV as Walt warns him against flooding the engine. This advertisement is a replica of a scenario from Breaking Bad season 2, episode 9, where the duo struggles to start their RV and is trapped in the desert for days.
With no Breaking Bad spinoffs in the works, this silly Super Bowl ad for food might be Walt and Jesse’s final outing together. Whatever the future holds, the complete PopCorners commercial will be broadcast during Super Bowl LVII on February 12. It is a chance to embrace the screen time where Walt and Jesse have left together.
