Kim wants a little German Sheep that he’ll name Glen

U.S. President Donald Trump met with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on June 12th, 2018, in Singapore to discuss ways to avoid both countries firing big nasty rockets at each other amongst other things.

At a couple of points in the meeting it was a little difficult to interpret what the two leaders were saying to each other privately but the very funny folks at Bad Lip-reading have given us their interpretation.

What really happened?

During the meeting Trump and Kim Jong-Un signed a joint statement, a kind of gentlemen’s agreement between the two nations. President Trump made the concession of suspending its joint military exercises with South Korea and in return, Supreme Leader Kim-Jong Un agreed to suspend North Koreas weapon testing.

U.S. Analysts have been quick to point out that this was perhaps a missed opportunity to gain further concessions from North Korea such as nuclear disarmament or weapon inspections.

Most agree that a dialogue being opened between the two nations is at least for now, a step in the right direction.  While Trump and Kim are being chatty pals there’s a significant decrease in the chance of war. I wonder if they’ve added each other on Snapchat yet.

Did you enjoy the lip-reading video? Do you think the meeting was an important step in the denuclearisation of North Korea? Do you really want a sheep called Glen now? Let us know in the comments below. Did you read this?
