If you have ever wondered why stealing just is not worth it, this maybe it. YouTuber Mark Rober teaches some parcel thieves a lesson.

The video begins with Rober explaining how he has had parcels stolen from his front porch before this set-up incident. Even with CCTVevidence of the culprits, the police do not try to recover his property, so hetakes matters into his own hands.

With the help Sean Hodgins, who works on the circuits of thedevice, the two create a fake package. Disguised as an Apple HomePod is theglitter-bomb to end all glitter-bombs. Made with ultra-fine glitter to make iteven harder to clear up. Furthermore, a mechanism that dispenses 5 spritzes offart spray every 30 seconds.

Good old-fashioned revenge

Also, the fake parcel had 4 phones triggered to record from all angles once the package was opened. Moreover, it was shrink wrapped and had a postage label for authenticity. However, it was addressed as being sent from Kevin McCallister (from Home Alone fame) and sent to Harry and Marv.

We love the creativity of this and think those who stole the package (and dumped it) got what they deserved. Sometimes it is okay to take justice into your own hands. Therefore, we commend Mark for his imaginative revenge and hope no other packages are stolen. After all the complaining from the thieves, we assume they won’t be.
