WATCH: Bridge Gets Levelled By Surging Floodwater

Morning commuters forced to swim across to get to work.

An ongoing torrential downpour in San Josef flooded the Waiho River so badly that it washed away an entire bridge.

This is no exaggeration either. The bridge literally disappears like it was never there. People seriously underestimate the power of surging water. It can be pretty crazy. I once witnessed a wave remove no less than seven people’s swimsuits at the beach last summer. And it’s not like those people got them back either. Mother Nature claimed those swim trunks as her own.

Maybe that’s what happened to this bridge. Mother Nature felt cheated. She didn’t like people crossing her river without recognizing her beauty. So she did what any of us would do. She ripped that puppy out of the ground and sent it to drift away to keep natural order in check. Well-played Mother Nature.
