The scene is breathtaking: tons of deer were spotted relaxing amidst the full-bloom of Nara Park in Japan, near Osaka. It seems to be straight out of a fairy tale, reminding us again of the chances of nature’s beauty amidst the current health crisis.
According to Japan Guide, there are circa 1,000 Sika deer that roam the usually busy park, considering that it is a famous tourist attraction in Japan especially for its special inhabitants.
Although the park advises against teasing the deer with food crackers that are sold on the premises in case they get aggressive, the deer are known to be a national symbol and generally very peaceful and tame.

The Nara Park has been awarded the Certificate of Excellence according to Tripadvisor , where thousands of past visitors have left reviews of the friendly animals.
Hopefully the emerging videos and images of nature reclaiming its space is inspiring us that once the current health crisis is resolved, we can return to safeguarding and protecting such natural beauty.
In a somewhat less dreamy video however, a park in New Zealand was found covered in thousands of spiderwebs creating a shocking must-see sight!
