Video Of World’s Deepest Pool Is Two Minutes Of Pure Anxiety

Record-breaking French free diver, Guillaume Néry, has just finished his most recent daring stunt: a plunge to the bottom of the world’s deepest pool!

The Y40 — the main attraction in France’s Hotel Terme Millepini — measures in at about 40 meters or 131 ft. deep. The pool was designed specifically for people interested in free diving and scuba diving, but Néry took a step further when he filmed himself in a free dive that last over two minutes.

Here’s a fun endurance game: inhale when the video starts and see how long you can hold your breath with Néry as he explores the Y40.

As if the video wasn’t anxiety-inducing enough on its own, the combination of Néry’s slow-motion underwater dancing, and the heart-racing techno music can take your breath away.
