Inside the Ibiza It-Girl Closet: What to Wear This Summer

Three women dressed in vibrant Ibiza-inspired outfits pose together. The woman on the left wears a sparkling aqua blue two-piece with sequin floral designs, the center wears a white tank top with a shiny paillette mini skirt and a circular pendant necklace, and the right wears a colorful tropical satin dress in pink, orange, and green hues. The image captures a playful, summery, nightlife-ready aesthetic.

This summer, a certain style emerged from the Mediterranean: part rave wear, part resort, and wholly maximalist.

Ibiza–the Spanish island long synonymous with house music and hedonism–has once again cemented itself as a global fashion destination. But unlike Paris’s haute couture or the Amalfi Coast’s coastal classicism, Ibiza’s dress code feels looser, funkier, and more self-created.

Sequins at sunrise. Micro-minis paired with cowboy boots. Crochet bags clutched in one hand, a club wristband and a dirty martini in the other.

This season, fashion’s fixation with “Euro summer” has placed Ibiza squarely in the spotlight. From narrated TikTok packing lists to Pinterest boards tagged “beach club aesthetic,” the island’s influence has gone mainstream.

So, spend your day toasting at brunches on the beach and DJ sets that last until sunrise. Summer on the island is a masterclass in dressing bold, breezy, and extra.

This curated lookbook channels the essence of Ibiza fashion–eclectic, elevated, and escapist- and offers a shoppable guide for building your version of the It-Girl Euro summer closet. Whether you’re en route to a villa in Sant Josep or daydreaming from your desk, here’s how to dress like you’ve RSVP’d yes!

Look One: The Pink Night Look – For the Dancing Queen

When the sun dips below the Balearic horizon, the real show begins. The air is warm, the Aperol is flowing, and the music hasn’t dipped below 120 BPM in hours. Cue the shimmer, cue the heels, cue the cocktails.

Whether you’re heading to Hï, Pacha, or Ushuaïa, you need a look that can hold its own beneath LED strobe lights and the inevitable film of glitter in the air.

  • Shai Mini Dress – For Love & Lemons ($249)
    • A blush-toned, lacy confection with ruffled detailing and a corseted sweetheart bodice. It reads like lingerie that got upgraded to VIP.
  • Mermaid Tears Bracelet – Ettika ($50)
    • Dainty, iridescent, and just the right amount of sparkly on the wrist.
  • Cary Gold Leather Heels – Steve Madden ($79)
    • Built for dancing, but glamorous enough to justify a cab ride home.
  • Pearl Effect Box Bag – Zara ($79)
    • A piece of the ocean arrives on shore with this iridescent clutch.
  • Baccarat Rouge 540 — Maison Francis Kurkdjian ($245 – $465)
    • Beacuse scent matters.

An Ibiza night doesn’t mean subtlety. So, wear the shimmer. And be the shimmer.

Look Two: Day to Night in Gold and White

There is a ritual in Ibiza: brunch bleeds into afternoon drinks, which turn into dinner plans that no one quite finalizes because they’re already on their way to the club.

Lightweight fabrics, low-rise silhouettes, and intentional accessories can carry you from a late brunch to sunset drinks without a wardrobe change. To survive this sartorial schedule, your outfit has to do the most while feeling like the least.

  • Hailey Slinky Sweetheart Top – Xemxp ($69)
    • Draped and sculpted in all the right ways. The kind of top that looks expensive even when it’s not.
  • Zeїa Low Rise Mini Skirt – Idáh ($330)
    • This skirt is Ibiza summer. Its price tag reflects its quality–and its Instagram potential.
  • Tommy Beaded Bag – STAUD ($295)
    • A tactile joy—part retro, part Riviera chic.
  • Caspian Earrings – Petit Moments ($40)
    • A quiet sparkle, like the sun hitting glass at golden hour.
  • Orquidea Heels – Tissimum ($99)
    • A minimalist heel with soft curves and a rosy hue that nods to the heat. Topped with a budding orchid that turns heads.
  • Her Eau de Parfum with Berries and Amber – BURBERRY ($105)
    • A fruity floral with attitude—this scent wraps juicy berries in warm amber, like golden hour bottled.

Note to self: This isn’t just a day look. It’s a twelve-hour look. Style accordingly.

Look Three: The Beach Look – Sequin, Skirts and Swimwear

The most iconic Ibiza outfits aren’t worn to dinner—they’re worn barefoot on beach towels, or walking back from a late lunch with salt still drying on your collarbones. Here, the line between swimwear and ready-to-wear blurs. You don’t change to go out; you layer.

This look embodies one of the core values of Ibiza dressing: don’t save your best pieces for night. Let them soak up the sun.

A Dress Code Written in Sound

Ibiza has always been a place where fashion loosens–where hemlines shorten, shoes come off, and usual rules dissolve in the heat.

There’s something theatrical about the way people dress here. Not in the showgirl sense–though there are feathers if you want them–but in the old-Hollywood sense: controlled, heightened, and dreamlike. You dress the way an actress steps into character. The mood is maximalist, but never quite costume.

The island has always drawn a particular kind of person. Now that person has a look.

There’s linen that clings in the breeze, heels carried in hand, and bathing suits that never touch water. The women wear their dresses like secrets. The men know better than to compete.

Online, it’s become a genre.

Style creators like Hannah Lizzy (@hannahlizzy_) have helped codify the look—sheer layers, vintage boots, and swimwear worn like eveningwear. On TikTok, the hashtag #ibizasummer has exploded, full of outfit transitions scored to deep house. On Instagram, mirrored selfies glow under the soft haze of halcyon dusk. Comment sections read like invitations. Hashtags—#ibizaoutfits, #eurogirl, #islandcore—mark entry into a new kind of style lexicon.

Retailers are catching the wave. Peppermayo’s summer edit is dripping in iridescent slips, beaded minis and breezy co-ords. Brands like Meshski, With Jéan, and Rat & Boa are similarly tuned in, offering capsule drops that lean into the “resort-core” ethos.

Because in Ibiza, the dress code shifts with the sound.

Pacha hums with glamour–slick hair, silk dresses, and a glass of champagne in hand.

DC-10 is pure underground. It’s edgy, raw, and a little undone. You’ll see denim minis, asymmetrical tanks, a little sweat, and a lot of silver.

Cova Santa feels like a hallucination in floral corsets and soft chiffon.

Ushuaїa is nothing less than daylight decadence. A night here begins in sunlight–bare shoulders, rhinestones, and swimwear turned statement–and somehow the day never ends.

In Ibiza, time melts into sound, into sweat, into the soft shimmer of something that might be a dress or might be a scarf. You lose track of what day it is, but remember exactly what you wore.

Nights stretch into each other, drinks never empty. Sequins end up in your suitcase, sunscreen stains your silk. It’s theatrical. Fleeting. And a little ridiculous.

Maybe that’s the point. You don’t dress for where you are. You dress for the version of yourself who never asks what time it is—because the lights haven’t come back on yet.
