Famous rapper Tupac’s break-up letter to famous pop artist Madonna that ended their relationship is up for auctioning.

Apparently, Tupac worried about what the perception of him dating an older white woman would do to his career. So while in jail, he wrote a ‘break-up letter’ to her.

Tupac says: “For you to be seen with a black man wouldn’t in any way jeopardize your career-But for me at least in my previous perception I felt due to my ‘image’ I would be letting down half of the people who made me what I thought I was.”

Tupac ended the letter by stating to Madonna to not trust in people so easily and to be careful.

The letter is set to be auctioned on July 17th and is expected to be sold at around $300,000.

Madonna herself tried to halt the auction, claiming that the letter had been stolen from her and that she had a right to her own privacy, but nothing was done about the matter.
