Tommy Robinson Gives A Shoutout To EDL Parody Group Thanks To Online Troll

Oh the irony!

Youtuber and online troll Niko Omilana posted the video on his Twitter account, which features Robinson himself telling supporters to subscribe to Omilana’s channel.

Robinson, real name Stephen Christopher Yaxley-Lennon, is a far right politics activist who founded and formerly led the controversial English Defence League. He was also a member of the British National Party from 2004-5, so you know, an interesting character to say the least.

Omilana is the founder of EDL parody group NDL (Niko Defence League). Earlier in the year he had a viral video, in which he went undercover to an EDL march to interview, and mock, those taking part.

His latest video features Robinson himself, and though Omilana is quite obviously taking the p*ss out of the EDL founder, he manages to get him to give a shoutout to his channel and tell his fans to subscribe.

Watch the video here:

Omilana seems pretty proud of himself, stating that he now owns the EDL and telling Robinson fans that ‘your God agrees’. Who knows how he managed to secure an interview with Robinson, but it makes for funny viewing.

Robinson was recently released from prison after winning an appeal against a 13 month sentence for contempt of court. The sentence came after Robinson filmed defendants entering a court of law, despite a nation wide court order banning any reports on the trial while the case was ongoing.
