Group Caught Stealing Train Tracks On Google Maps, Whoops

The Google Maps car sees all…

Google Maps was created with the intention of helping people find directions, discover new plays, and be able to look at cities all over the world from your computer. Turns out, it’s also for finding people doing illegal activities.

We’ve all seen those memes about the camera catching a man escaping from jail, or people having sex outside, so it’s not wonder someone got caught stealing train tracks.

I can’t really think of any other reason a group of people would be hauling a big piece of track off in a wheelbarrow unless they were stealing it. Interestingly, if you’ve ever seen train tracks, they’re huge, steal, and welded together. So who the hell knows how these randos got ahold of it.

You know me, always Googling things, and this was no different. Turns out just a mile can cost between 1-2 million dollars. So it’s safe to say they were probably planning on selling the medal, unless they’re making a track of their own.

I think it’s funny how Google created this incredible interactive tool and it’s somehow catching the hilariousness that is humanity. Like, what are we even doing? Having sex in the woods like animals, stealing metal to pawn, walking for miles in an orange jumpsuit to escape prison? I guess so.

If you check out this person’s Tik Tok, you’ll see they do a lot of Google Maps spoofs. I bet if you had the time you could find hundreds of accidental images that will live on forever online. Imagine having sex and suddenly the Google Maps car pulls up. What happens then?

More on unconventional money, a swat team completely tore down this woman’s house and left her a check for $50,000. That should cover it, right?
