KFC Launches Meatless Fried Chicken (Finally)!

Vegan is coming! With more and more vegans options hitting fast food joints, this is no surprise.

To some, being vegan might seem like just another fad diet. But it is so much more! And the vegan trend is SOARING. Lucky for us vegans, the fried chicken professionals have teamed up with beyond meat for a whole new meatless fried chicken experience.

This new meatless option was tested at a KFC in Atlanta. The Beyond Fried Chicken sold out in just five hours! With this success, it is not long before the meatless chicken will be offered nationwide. And for vegans everywhere wondering if this option will be 100% vegan, according to their website, the Beyond Fried Chicken will be made with 100% plant based ingredients and fried in a dedicated fryer to avoid cross contamination. It seems that the vegan trend is rising at an incredible pace and it is only a matter of time before every fast-food joint has a vegan option or two.
