Whether you’re homeless, poor, going to college, or all of the above, Spring Gardens Cafe has a deal for you. £1 is all it takes to walk away with a full belly. The managers believe this breakfast deal will bring out more customers and orders, and apparently it’s working. Gather your knives and forks, folks, there’s an affordable breakfast joint on the loose.
Everything a hungry person needs is right there on those two plates. If only Waffle House or Denny’s would make a scrumptious $1 menu in the states. Until then, a lot of us are stuck paying $7+ for a decent breakfast. Apparently the English breakfast can be doubled with just another extra quid at Spring Gardens Café.
I can only imagine the amount of drunks stumbling into this place at night, pounding on the counters and demanding a £1 breakfast. There’s never a wrong time to eat potatoes, tomatoes, eggs, and toast, especially when it’s so cheap. Keep on feeding the masses, Spring Gardens Café, and hopefully other food joints will follow suite.
