Nigel Farage said Bi(den) to 10,000, after betting on Donald Trump to win the US election.

After a long election campaign, Farage backed Donald Trump with his own money to win the election. But not just a couple of quid, like most people when betting, but a ginormous 10,000 pounds.  Spoiler alert- Trump did not win the election, but Joe Biden did.

Farage posted the tweet above on November 3rd, the sign reads “Donald Trump to win the US Election, 10,000 @15/8.”

The odds mean that Farage would have raked in £28,750 had Trump reigned supreme in the election.

Trump and Farage became firm friends after Trump specifically requested Nigel for trade negotiations in advance of Brexit, and meeting to discuss the merits of a no-deal.

Maybe next time Farage will think twice before making any more deals!
