Who is Venom?

Venom is considered one of the greatest threats to humanity according to S.H.I.E.L.D. His powers include shapeshifiting and mimicking the appearance of other humanoids while inside a host. The most famous host Venom inhabited was Spider-Man. As the story goes, the hero eventually split from the Symbiote, but Venom was left with the knowledge of Spider-Man’s powers and fighting style. This puts Spidey at a disadvantage any time he has to fight Eddie Brock, Venom’s second most well known host and the main character in Marvel’s next movie.
