Only several months after the renewal of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ for a second season, Netflix got the ball rolling by filming the episodes! Now if only they could do that with all of our favorite shows, but it seems that waiting for months and months for a new season is a rite of passage of some sorts.
‘The Umbrella Academy’ is adapted from the comics by Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá, and was incredibly successful on Netflix from the very start, maintaining 45 million subscribers in its first month on the streaming service.
