Sometimes, writers and directors need a little assistance when putting together a beloved show or movie. And often times, they don’t ask for this help, but thank god, we-the-people-of-the-internet are here to point them in the right direction.
We’ve definitely been exercising our power in forms of online petitions on change.org. Our latest feat is to try to get Marvel to cast Danny DeVito as the new Wolverine. And so far, the petition has 10,000, just shy of its goal of 15,000.

The petition’s description is very convincing:
“[DeVito is] the only man able to take the throne after Hugh Jackman. We believe that if Wolverine is to make an appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the only man able to pull it off is Danny DeVito.”
Those who signed the petition also weighed in, commenting things like:
“Danny DeVito is the best actor of all time, and can play any role. If he can play Arnold Schwarzenegger’s twin brother, he can play Logan being the best at what he does.”
“Danny DeVito is a massive legend.”
“I believe Danny DeVito is a great actor.”
“Penguin Batman Returns and Frank It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, let’s make it happen.”
“It’s my human right to see what I want to see and I want to see Wolverine played by an old, short, fat, balding man. My first preference is Elton John, but DeVito is a close second.”
“WE NEED DANNY DEVITO IN EVERY SUPERHERO FILM. TONY STARK, BRUCE WAYNE, CLARK KENT, LOIS LANE, SELINA KYLE. ANY ROLE WILL DO!”
Yes, internet. I completely agree with you. Hopefully, the producers do too.
