‘Lupin Zero’ Episode Release Schedule

Lupin Zero is an Original Net Animation that tells how a young boy evolved into a notorious gentleman thief called Lupin III. It is said to be a six-part miniseries Loosely based on the original manga. The show made its debut on Friday, Dec 16, 2022, after a special screening on Nov 18, 2022.

The show is set in 1960s Japan during the country’s economic boom, where we see a young boy taking an interest in villainhood. The show is the prequel to the Lupin series and will feature a combination of stories from the original manga. While focusing on a younger Lupin, fans will also see three generations of the Lupin. It can be streamed on the DMM TV website (In Japan) and Hidive (others).

The anime is directed by Daisuke Sakō by Telecom Animation Film and is written by Lelouch of the Rebellion. This action comedy will have six episodes of 26 minutes each and is suitable for viewers 13 years old and older. It is scheduled to be concluded on Jan 13, 2023.

The show stars the voice of Shunsuke Takeuchi as Daisuke Jigen, Tasuku Hatanaka as Lupin III, Saori Hayami as Yōko, Toa Yukinari as Shinobu, Tooru Nara as Marion Hood, Toshio Furukawa as Lupin II, Yoshito Yasuhara as Lupin I, Yū Kobayashi as Albert d’Andrésy, Yuko Kaida as Phoolan and more.
