Despite his fame as Thor, Chris Hemsworth has his burgeoning franchise if Marvel stops making Marvel movies. And here we have the release date for Extraction 2 as well? In 2020, he teamed up with Netflix to release Extraction on the small screen, and now a sequel is in the works.

The streaming service will have the content as originals. Still, during a pandemic, viewers wanted an action movie that was straightforward, hard-hitting, entertaining, and brought the joy of a blockbuster to their television screens. So, it should be no surprise that a second adventure was commissioned.

Here is everything you need to know about the Extraction 2 release date, what might happen in the high-octane sequel, and who will join the Chris Hemsworth movie.

Extraction 2 Release Date

According to Netflix, Extraction 2 will be released on June 16, 2023. That’s a few months away, but it’s pretty close.

Extraction 2 Storyline

In Extraction 2, Tyler Rake is tasked with rescuing a family from the grasp of a Georgian gangster. Rake must infiltrate one of the world’s most dangerous prisons to save them, but when the Extraction goes wrong, and the gangster dies, his equally ruthless brother seeks revenge on him.

We only have a few details as to what the plot of Extraction 2 will be based on Netflix since they only like to give a little away closer to the film’s release. In the first movie, Tyler Rake appeared to be shot dead, so the key to Extraction 2 will be finding out how he survived.
