The former lead singer from Aiden, William Control has been accused by a woman of running a sex cult where he brainwashed impressionable young girls into working as sex slaves for him. Sick Chirpse published this story last week, and the response has the lead singer spinning a u-turn.
First of all, to give context, William Roy Francis aka William Control is the lead singer of the band: Aiden; a mid 00s emo band. Sick Chirpse published an article about the lead singer being accused of creating a BDSM cult where he enslaved young girls into being his slaves and him, their master. You can read the article here.
Ever since the article was released, a group of women who were victims of his abuse, have come together to form a Tumblr page where they are able to tell their own stories and to gather support towards their investigation. You can check out their page here but please be warned graphic videos and pictures of sexual violence against women and its aftermath. There are some harrowing stories about what he used to do to these women, to put it mildly, he seems like a truly disgusting human being.
With regards to updates on the situation, it seems as if the singer has responded to the accusations, as he posted an update on Facebook where he derided the allegations as false.
Hopefully, the fact that he is leaving the music industry will kick start justice for all the women involved. However, there has also been another update as William Control’s wife has also left him. His wife Lindsay updated her Instagram story and revealed that she was choosing to believe the allegations and leave William and take their son Phineas with her too.
