Think about the famous street names that you know about. Bourbon Street (New Orleans), Hollywood Boulevard (Los Angeles), Abbey Road (North London), you name it! But what if there was a street that was named after a famous rap group?
That’s what happened to the famous rap group, the Wu-Tang Clan. There was a celebration honoring the rap group after 25 years by renaming the intersection Vanderbilt Avenue and Targee Street into the “Wu-Tang Clan District.” The two original members of the crew, Ghostface Killah and Raekwon, attended the ceremony despite the lousy weather.
