Each year, the Super Bowl includes many commercials that debut during the football broadcast. The Super Bowl is viewed by a large number of people (127 million last year), which makes this broadcast a great time for brands to advertise and potentially reach new consumers. In addition, many Super Bowl commercials include entertainment aspects. Celebrities are known for being part of Super Bowl commercials and make for some iconic pop culture moments.
Super Bowl commercials are so desired for advertisers that they are very expensive to purchase time slots for. For the recent 60th Super Bowl in 2026, commercial slots were being sold for $8–10 million for 30-second ad spots. The commercial popularity led to NBC selling out of commercial inventory for advertisers.
Commercials from the Super Bowl also reach viewers who may not be interested in the sports aspect of the event. Providing entertainment through commercials during breaks allows all viewers to feel included. The addition of celebrities and creativity for each commercial makes this aspect just as important as the sport. This year’s Super Bowl had some memorable commercials that featured celebrities.

Kendall Jenner brings up her dating history for Fanatics Sportsbook
Kendall Jenner was featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Fanatics Sportsbook. Jenner appeared in the advertisement for the sports betting platform and made light of infamous memes about her and her family. Specifically, the commercial makes a reference to the infamous “Kardashian Kurse” where sports players who have dated Jenner or her sisters have negative outcomes for their next games. While this term is just an online meme with no truth to it, it was amusing to see Jenner make light of it for the commercial. In general, Jenner also consistently mentioned how she has a history of dating basketball players. But in this commercial, Jenner revealed “its time to bet on something new, football players,” alluding to the Fanatics Sportsbook sports betting platform for the Super Bowl.
Fanatics Sportsbook’s choice of Kendall Jenner for this commercial was a great choice. Making light of Jenner’s history of dating NBA (National Basketball Association) players and the infamous “Kardashian Curse” meme allowed viewers to have a different kind of understanding about the sports betting platform. The use of pop culture and Kardashian/Jenner references made this commercial more interesting to watch.
Sabrina Carpenter romantically teams up with Pringles
Sabrina Carpenter and Pringles teamed up for a romantic 2026 Super Bowl commercial. In the commercial, Carpenter builds a boyfriend using Pringles chips. The commercial shows Carpenter and her Pringles boyfriend doing many things together, such as a romantic dinner and attending a sports game. In the end, Carpenter seemingly exits what looks like one of her concerts and greets her Pringles boyfriend waiting outside for her. Fans that she thinks are for her run up to her, but end up being fans of Pringles chips.
This commercial had many great moments. From the main premise being about Sabrina Carpenter making a boyfriend out of Pringles, to having the ending where everyone, including Carpenter, eats the Pringles boyfriend, shows how simple yet creative this commercial was.
Andy Cohen is red carpet ready for Nerds Gummy Clusters
Andy Cohen was featured in a Super Bowl commercial for Nerds Candy. The Watch What Happens Live host appeared in the candy commercial to promote the Nerds Gummy Clusters. The commercial shows Cohen and a CGI Nerds Gummy Cluster getting ready for a red carpet event together.
While the commercial is short and simple, it still gets right to the point and has some amusing aspects. For example, the commercial showed Cohen and the CGI Nerds Gummy Cluster attending a red carpet event to seemingly celebrate an update to the candy collection. Andy Cohen came across as the perfect celebrity chosen for this commercial since he brought his usual hosting energy and excitement for the candy brand.
Charli XCX and Rachel Sennott create a vibe with Poppi
Charli XCX made an appearance for Poppi’s Super Bowl 60 commercial. The Grammy Award-winning singer appeared in the soda brand’s commercial set in a college lecture. During the lecture, a student opens up a Poppi soda can, leading Charli XCX to appear in the room. The singer’s co-star from the recent movie The Moment, Rachel Sennott, also appears in the room. The commercial then shows the classroom become a club and party environment with Charli XCX calling the moment “just a vibes thing.”
This Poppi commercial brought Charli XCX’s party style commonly shown in her music to promote the soda brand. In addition, adding Rachel Sennott to the commercial helped to promote The Moment movie. Overall, this commercial starring Charli XCX and Sennott was able to show how Poppi beverages are “a vibe.”
Bowen Yang, Scarlett Johansson, and Jon Hamm have a party with Ritz Crackers
Ritz Crackers’ 2026 Super Bowl commercial didn’t include just one celebrity. They brought three celebrities together for their party-themed commercial. Actors Bowen Yang, Scarlett Johansson, and Jon Hamm came together for this star-studded commercial. The commercial starts off with Yang and Hamm overlooking a party scene while discussing how they are “salty” and don’t like parties. Then, Johansson enters the scene on a Ritz Crackers-themed jet ski in the sand. The three of them join together on the jet ski and enjoy Ritz Crackers.
Unlike some Super Bowl commercials that only feature one celebrity, Ritz Crackers decided to bring multiple celebrities together. Having multiple celebrities in a commercial makes the concept interesting to see how they all interact with each other. The famous actors chosen worked well together for the plot of this commercial.
