Guess the Beatles were wrong…sometimes love isn’t all you need.
King of Inkland King Body Art The Extreme Ink-ite, properly known as Matthew Whelan, is covered from head to toe in tattoos. The detailed body arts covers nearly 90% of his entire body.
He is so dedicated he even had his eyes tattooed and his nipples removed (to make more room, obviously). Alas, this has hindered his dating life. His last relationship was two years ago. Women are either “shallow” and reject him, or they only sleep with him for his tattoos.
During his interview with the Daily Star, Body Ink said:
I have a very active social life. But I haven’t had much luck finding love. A lot of women are put off by my tattoos or it makes them really curious. I’m a bit like Marmite so you either like them or you don’t.
I’ve had about 15 to 20 relationships in my life and have definitely got more attention since I got my tattoos.
But since my last relationship ended two years ago I haven’t had anything serious.

A lot of women are really shallow and only go for guys with Love Island-type bodies. Then I get other women who are just interested in me because of my tattoos.
I suppose when your body is covered in tattoos in this way, you should kind of be expecting it would be hard to find someone who would be accepting of that much ink. But hey, at least he can still get laid right?
