I imagine it is an all too familiar instinct for a person who has spent any amount of time in prison to want to slip through the cracks of said jailhouse, and to never look back.
However, three prisoners of the Lorain/Medina Community Correctional Facility in Elyria, Ohio felt that their best bet was to use a folding table as a battering ram to smash in a window, effectively giving them an opportunity to become free men.
The time they spent on the outside lasted as long as the flavor one gets from a stick of Juicy Fruit, though. The men were picked up by patrolling officers almost immediately.
Here is a video capturing Reynaldo Rivera Franco, Michael David Kilgore, and Joshua Natal-Morales’ daring effort to escape the throes of the criminal justice system.
