The Simpsons Couch Gag Reimagined Through Play Dough

The Simpsons in a new violent light.

Lee Hardcastle/YouTube

The Simpsons characters have been remodeled – in play dough – in this violent frenzy of a couch gag.

Movie creator Lee Hardcastle allowed the 1992 film ‘Reservoir Dogs’ to inspire another violent version of The Simpsons. Famed for incredible stop-motion movies it’s no surprise that the internet is captivated by this movie.

Hardcastle took the Simpsons in a way no one could have predicted and he also took playdough and gave it a new, more adult face. The movie (below) sees characters such as Moe, and Principle Skinner in an entirely new light.

<br>Along with skilful stop motion the modelling must be mentioned. To recreate the most iconic characters of all time in an equally iconic movie scene is not only a ballsy move but a move done well.

This short movie seems to follow on from a similar one by the same man and is rumoured to be the beginning of another of the same type of film. so for those who enjoyed it, don’t worry there’s more to come.

Skillful, funny and iconic who thought play-dough was so cool.
