Have you ever wondered what would have happened if Jurassic Park had been a real amusement park? This YouTube channel provides a glimpse into what could have been by comparing the classic film to the Fyre Festival Scandal.

Stitching together scenes from the Jurassic movies and the trailer for “FYRE: The Greatest Party That Never Happened”, this Nerdist Remix shows us the fraud that would have taken place. The video focuses on John Hammond, the creator of Jurassic Park, just as the documentary focuses on the CEO who created Fyre.

The spoof video pokes fun at how those who paid thousands to receive gourmet food at Fyre. They only ended up with sandwiches. At the Park you get jelly, who knew? Furthermore, the mockumentary interviews people “close” to John Hammond. The also joke about the buying of an island called “Isla Nublar”. This is a reference to the original Island rented for the festival with ties to Pablo Escobar.

We think the parallels that these video creators drew between the Jurassic franchise and the Festival scandal are genius.
