Auckland residents Olivia and Ryan are the new guests on ‘Living Big In a Tiny House.’ But this time, the house is on the water.
In the video, they show us around their two storey boathouse they keep in the marina.
Inside the boat, you would never expect it to be anything other than a regular house. But then you look out the window and – oh! – you’re on the sea.
I don’t know if I could live on the water, but the two are no strangers to these kinds of living conditions. Ryan spent three years living on a yacht prior to meeting Olivia, and Olivia used to work as a nurse on a science ship.
The two decided on constructing their own water-based home after meeting at the very marina they now live at. In the video, they talk through their inspiration for the home, from their desire to be different to their wish for space.
