An actual bear has been caught stealing and proceeding to munch on a packet of crisps from a supermarket in California.
The brown bear was clearly craving comfort food as it strolled into a Safeway supermarket in Lake Tahoe last Tuesday night.
The bear grabs a bag of tortilla chips, Tostitos to be exact, to the cheers of customers watching. The bear then finds a spot outside the shop to tuck into its chosen snack.
The hungry bear was recorded by Adina Baidoo, who narrates the animal’s shopping experience in awe, while other onlookers honk their car horns.

Adina demonstrates some bravery, getting as close to the wild bear as she does. Her efforts to video the furry thief are commendable, as many would have run for the hills.
Despite being caught on camera, the bear won’t be answering for its crime, as after all, crisps are but the bare necessities.
