Would you take as risk as big as this?

Imagine winning £42,000. Life-changing right? Now imagine having the balls to risk losing it only minutes after you’d got your hands on it. Madness right?

Well, this is exactly what UK poker champion Jake Cody decided to do after gaining victory and winning the £42,670 grand prize at a poker championship in Nottingham.

The lucky gambler was at the ‘From Dusk Till Dawn’ casino when he decided to march over to the nearest roulette table and place all his winnings on black. This left him with a 50/50 chance of either doubling his prize money or leaving the venue with not even a crumb (which let’s admit would be so so awkward after his overwhelming confidence).

So how do you think he did?

Of course he was successful! He’s a professional gambler with lucky stars shining over him. A risk that was worth taking for sure and one Jake is bound to have fun with now!

So well done Jake… We’re not jealous at all…

Check out this even more impressive poker win!
