Another day, another Youtube micro-celebrity making their debut in the international boxing ring. Dubai-based Youtuber Rashed Belhasa (better known by his online alias ‘Money Kicks’) has revealed his plans for the near futute: to battle former pro boxer Floyd Mayweather in an exhibition match à la Logan Paul.

This announcement first came from Mayweather himself, as he teased the existence of an upcoming exhibition match. However, the identity of his opponent had been left up for speculation. Now, it has been revealed that the 20-year-old content creator is stepping into the ring to oppose to the world champion.

The match is scheduled to take place in February of this year, on Belhasa’s home turf of Dubai.

Belhasa has extensively spoken about the match on his online platforms, even calling upon known exhibition-match frequenter Logan Paul for advice. In his latest vlog, Belhasa can be seen Facetiming the 26-year-old Youtube veteran for advice (despite the humble length of Paul’s boxing career).

The Money Kicks Youtube channel primarily focuses on lifestyle content: specifically, the lifetyle of the super-wealthy elite who live in Dubai. Belhasa’s most-viewed video boasts the unveiling of his brand-new Ferrari. As if that weren’t enough, every square inch is tastefully covered in Supreme decals. Despite the channel possessing 3.2 million subscribers, it’s estimated that Belhasa possesses a net worth of over $4 million.

For all of Belhasa’s shameless flexing, it’s clear that the creator is looking to branch out, profoundly inspired by Paul’s prior ventures into the world of boxing.

That being said, it’s uncelar whether the match will go ahead as intended or not. Mayweather has, historically, teased the existence of upcoming exhibition matches only for the plans to fall through in the end. Only time will tell what awaits in store for the internet’s latest wannabe boxer, or if his career in the ring is over before it’s even begun.
