Sad news in the rap world.XXXTentacion was shot and killed on Monday June 18th. The rapper, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, was shot several times in southern Florida. He survived for only minutes after the shooting, and was pronounced dead at the hospital. He was only 20 years old.

TMZ reported that he was leaving a motorcycle dealership at Deerfield Beach when the shooting occurred. He was reported deceased at 2:40 PM.

The two suspects who committed the murder were wearing black hoodies, with the shooter wearing a red mask. The bullets came raining out from a black Dodge Journey with tinted windows.

Seems like XXXTentacion was on the radar of the wrong people. Through his young life he found himself in bed with danger. But there didn’t seem to be any recent conflicts. He was, however, involved in a court case surrounding the domestic violence incident with his girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time. He was first placed on house arrest, but later released on parole so he could finish his tour.

His career took off in 2016 with the release of “Look at Me.” Two albums followed: 17(2017) and ?(2018). These albums were critically acclaimed and brought him commercial success. He leaves behind so much and he is gone too soon.
