A Criminal On The Loose Looks Like Ross From ‘Friends’

Cue Friends theme music.

Maybe you’ve been compared to a celebrity or local star before. Maybe your friend hyped you up and told you that you could pass for Will Smith or Rihanna (yeah, right). While many of celebrities in some cases have distinct characteristics, Ross from Friends is apparently not one of them. Either that, or he’s being cloned and we just don’t know about it.

The Blackpool Police department recently investigated a robbery at a restaurant on September 20th, and they shared a photo of the suspect for the world to see. And what do you know, he looks like Ross from Friends.

Less than 24 hours after, the honorable people of the internet (yes, you too are one of the honorable) were quick to respond. They claimed that the suspect resembled the actor David Schwimmer and did not hesitate to fill the comment section with Friends quotes:

“Ross, what were you thinking it’s not that common it doesn’t happen to every guy and it is a big deal!”

“I don’t think it’s been this guy’s day, his week, his month or even his year….”

“That’s clearly not Ross. They’re as different as night and…later that night.”

The Blackpool Police even joined in on the humor too:

“Thank you to everyone for your speedy responses.

We have investigated this matter thoroughly and have confirmed that David Schwimmer was in America on this date.

We’re so sorry it has to be this way.”

That’s a good way to get responses during an investigation, just make sure your criminal looks like a celebrity. Everyone’s probably out there looking for Ross right as we speak. For more possible cloning schemes, here’s Thinking of Cloning Your Dog? Think Again!
