Meth and Crime Come to the Family Table With New Breaking Bad Monopoly Game

Heisenberg’s hat, Tio’s bell and a gas mask for game pieces!

Ever have the feeling that your Monopoly needed a little more methamphetamine? How about crime and methamphetamine?

Well, your dreams have come true with Hasbro’s “Breaking Bad Monopoly,” released by the licensee USAopoly, you can buy it here for $39.99! (Currently only available in the U.S.)

Traditional game pieces are replaced with Heisenberg’s hat, Tio’s bell, a money barrel, a gas mask, a pink teddy bear or an RV. And ‘houses’ and ‘hotels’ are replaced with ‘Tented Houses’ and ‘SuperLabs.’

This game is rated 17+ and players are warned to “tread lightly” through this risky game to be the last man standing.

Fans should recognize familiar locations such as The White House and Taco Cabeza, as well as tokens and action cards based off of events related to the show.

Fans will experience Walter’s own journey through capitalistic efforts, towards their own goals — but hopefully with lower stakes, such as bragging rights.

Not a fan of Breaking Bad? Give it a shot! The series won a total of 16 Emmy’s, and the board game comes after the release of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. All available on Netflix, so you can ride out this quarantine with the series, movie, and board game!
