Joe Exotic-Themed Condoms Have Hit the Market

Practice safe sex with the Tiger King.

Online store Firebox has started selling “Joe’s Exotic Condoms,” because that’s definitely something that needs to exist.

The gag gift, which costs $12.40, consists of four individually packaged, “Tiger King-Sized” condoms. Though it’s a steep price for a product so simple, the site ensures these will be, “the perfect latex cage for your wild and untamed beast.” And, yes, these spoof condoms are apparently functional as well as funny; they’re reportedly, “98% effective, 100% unofficial.”

Much like the hit Netflix documentary series has, Firebox aims to profit off the COVID-19 quarantine. The listing cites “an isolation-induced baby boom” and global condom shortage as reasons every Tiger King fan needs this themed contraception.

If you can’t get enough Tiger King merch, the site is also offering a themed doormat, which reads: “COME IN AS LONG AS YOU’RE NOT THAT B— CAROLE BASKIN.” Based on Exotic and Baskin’s decades-long rivalry, Joe would probably approve this message.

Firebox, which markets itself as a marketplace for “unusual gifts,” aren’t the only ones trying to make a few bucks off Joe Exotic. Check out how Rob Lowe is planning on cashing in on Tiger King success.
