Architectural Digest aims to wow audiences with their inside look into the craziest houses on the market, but even by their standards this house is pretty wild.
Last week, the publication shared a video on their Youtube channel of a $40.5 million Estate in San Fransisco, and the things that this place has are truly next level.
The property takes up an entire city block of the city street, which is equivalent to the size of six-regular sized lots. Yep, six regular houses in one.
That makes it almost 10,000 square feet, but this is spread across multiple buildings. The main residence is a spacious 5 bedroom and 6.5 bath building and is joined by luxurious gardens to an onsite personal wellness cottage.
This ‘wellness cottage’ is one of a kind, with a sauna, massage area, steam room, and full spa.
That’s not all the house has to offer; it also has a breath-taking infinity swimming pool with views of the entire city, an outdoor theatre, and a thousand bottle wine wall. I can’t imagine you would ever get bored living here.
The craziness starts right at the door. The grand entrance to the house from the garage is in the style of a huge, dark bat cave. Very random, but when you have money like that you can really do whatever you like.
It also has a fully functioning art gallery, provided you have impressive paintings to stock it up with. Oh, and a glass elevator to get around in.
We don’t know about you, but this is the kind of house we really wouldn’t mind being quarantined in.
And the best thing about it, the house is certified LEED Platinum, which is the rating for the highest level of sustainability possible. So whoever lives here can do so entirely guilt-free environment-wise.
If you’re an architecture nerd, but can’t afford to actually purchase a house as impressive as this, check out this impressive treehouse that can be booked for £33 per night….
