Consisting of footage shot over 51 miles of tundra, the hard work from the camera teams brings the northern lights to people around the world. Viewers of the live stream have increased since the onset of the pandemic, itself in the eighth year of operation. Unfortunately, unlike Pullman’s novel of the same name, this live stream won’t act as a portal to a parallel universe.
