Most people know about breakfast sandwiches, but what about breakfast burgers?

With the “Big Brekkie Burger,” McDonald’s continues their groundbreaking culinary experimentation… okay, that’s probably ‘a bit much,’ but I guess we should be happy that they’re trying something new.

And they’re not just cracking an egg on a normal burger and passing it off as a “breakfast burger.” No, McDonald’s would never sink so low: the burger also features hash browns, bacon, and an egg. Standard breakfast stuff, no doubt.

Here’s a brief rundown of the ingredients and their particular arrangement:

While the pictures are always better looking than reality, the flavor combination doesn’t sound half bad (though, personally, the BBQ sauce seems out of place).

From the “100% Aussie beef patty,” I think we can infer that this new burger is only available in Australia, at least for now. Who knows, maybe if it becomes popular we could see it become more widespread. Honestly, I’d give it a try.
