A New Coronavirus Burger is on the Menu

Well, it’s definitely different…

A restaurant in Vietnam makes cheeseburgers in the shape of the novel Coronavirus.

As the novel Coronavirus pandemic has taken a major toll on people all across the globe, Chef Hoang Tung is trying to boost morale with a different approach. His restaurant, “Pizza Home”, in Vietnam offers a new feature on the menu that imitates the famous image of the virus that is all over social media. Much like the pandemic itself, this is something very different from what we have ever seen before.

Using green tea, Tung and his employees stain countless hamburger buns that even have cyllinder-like shapes protruding from the bun to add character. The idea came from a joke that, “if you are scared of something, you should eat it.” As he sells fifty of these burgers a day, Tung believes this approach will boost morale while major cities are being prepared for lockdown. Maybe it will even reduce their fear of the virus, for Tung says, “the Coronavirus isn’t scary anymore after you eat a burger in the shape of the virus itself.”

As of March 30, 2020 there are 203 confirmed cases of Coronavirus with 55 recoveries and no deaths. It is clear that Vietnam seems to be handling the situation in a more successful way than we’ve seen. Tung says that this “way of thinking spreads joy to others during this pandemic.” While the burger may not look like the most appetizing thing you’ve seen, it’s the little things that get us through tough times like this.

If you thought this was something you’ve never seen before, wait until you check out Frozen Foods for The Apocalypse #Coronavirus.
