This woman decided that her followers on Instagram needed to see how brave she was, so she decided that the best way to go about validating herself and getting everyone’s attention was to hop the fence at the Bronx Zoo…right into the lion’s den.
Even though people were screaming at her to get out, she claimed that she had ‘no fear of nothing breathing’, and wanted to prove how brave she was to her audience.
Thankfully, the lion decided that she was not worth his time, and sauntered away, sparing the woman’s life. The New York police released a statement to the Washington Post regarding the incident:
“This action was a serious violation and unlawful trespass that could have resulted in serious injury and death.”
