What would you do if you were driving along and an octopus was on the road? Swerve to avoid it, probably! But when this guy did that, he got into a bit of hot water…
Earlier this week, a man in Devon was involved in a car crash after he spun out of control upon allegedly seeing an octopus on the road. Now, you can sometimes get octopuses in the seas in the South of England. However, the crash site was 5km from the ocean.
Well, it turns out that the driver was high on LSD. He was arrested for dangerously driving under the influence of drugs. The thing that eluded the police was where this octopus was.
The man insisted he saw it. Others thought that he was just tripping out. But it has been found and the case (sort of) solved.

It is unclear how or when the octopus appeared, but it is safe to say that it poses no harm to any other drivers. We suspect that the man will not be driving for a while no,w and thank goodness that no one was hurt.
