The funny mockumentary that began with Cunk on Britain is continued in Cunk on Earth. Philomena invites viewers to investigate how far human civilization has advanced (or not) since the beginning of time in Cunk on Earth. The six-part series will be shown to an international audience for the first time on Netflix, although it was technically released on the BBC in 2022.

Plot

In search of humanity’s earliest moments, Philomena Cunk travels the world in this sequel to Cunk on Britain. In her hilarious deadpan style, she explains the Renaissance, the pyramids, how the first societies were formed, and a lot more. Diane Morgan made Cunk on Britain before Cunk on Earth. In it, Philomena Cunk tried to explain Great Britain’s history despite not knowing anything about it.

Release Date

On January 31, Cunk on Earth will finally be available on Netflix. At 12:00 a.m. PT/3:00 a.m. ET, you can begin watching all six episodes of the hilarious mockumentary. Cunk on Britain needs to be made available for streaming on Netflix, making it easier to manage if you live in the United States. Netflix may include it in the future.

Who is Philomena Cunk?

For those who aren’t familiar, Charlie Brooker created Philomena Cunk for the first time in a series of skits for his British television review show Weekly Wipe. Cunk has since developed her personality due to Morgan’s hilariously sarcastic and irreverent portrayal. In this mockumentary, Diane Morgan is in great form because she delivers all of her lines with such a severe demeanor that it’s hard not to laugh.

You won’t want to miss this show because you’ll learn a lot about history from a cheeky and straight-faced comedian and actress. “Cunk on Earth” is one of the best Netflix mockumentaries because Diane Morgan didn’t hesitate to talk about anything controversial. Delivered to us by Diane Morgan as Philomena Cunk, this mockumentary is a treat from start to end.
