The final season of Game of Thrones begins streaming April 14th, which couldn’t come sooner for some fans. Almost exactly 8 years ago the first episode streamed in April 2011, starting an almost unimaginable fandom. Throughout the years the fan base has grown, and even been given awards for most committed and involved audience, which is reflected with the astounding average of 30 million views per episode last season.

Another teaser has been dropped involving Jon Snow and Arya. It has been hinted at that the two of them will be teaming up for the final battle between the kingdoms. For almost all of the show previously, the two of them were not in direct contact and were definitely not working together so this may come as a surprise for fans and a determining factor in the outcome of the show.

The countdown begins as everyone patiently awaits the finale that has been eight years in the making!
