Tiger King Sequel Announced By Netflix

Hey all you cool cats and kittens! Hold on to your eyebrow piercings because Netflix have just confirmed a sequel to Tiger King which means more madness to come. 

The polygamy loving, big cat riding, eyebrow pierced, mullet wielding, fringe coat wearing, moustache tooting, hitman enthusiast will return to our screens at some undisclosed time before the year ends. The above video gives a touch more detail but no official trailer has been released by Netflix as of yet.

This brand new instalment is directed by Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin, the partnership responsible for the first hit docu-series, Tiger King: Murder, Mayhem and Madness which canonised the two cultish figures Joe Exotic and Carole Baskin into popular culture. When everyone dresses up as you for Halloween then you know you have made it into some form of pseudo-stardom.

A synopsis for Tiger King 2 reads: “The global hit Tiger Kin, which attracted 64 million households in the first four weeks after its March 2020 premiere, will return to Netflix for more madness and mayhem.”

True crime has become a popular offshoot of documentaries upon Netflix with such series as The Stairs or Don’t F**k With Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer and there is an upcoming true-crime slate coming to Netflix. New arrivals to platform feature series such as The Puppet Master: Hunting the Ultimate Conman- a three-part series launching in January, telling the story of one of the most notorious conmen who stole fortunes and ruined multiple lives.
