After Netflix’s Making a Murderer and HBO’s The Jinx, true crime docu-series have really taken off.

And with the second season of Making a Murderer delayed, many are looking for the next true crime series to binge. Luckily, Netflix has an answer: The Staircase.

Watch the trailer below:

The Staircase follows novelist Michael Peterson after his second wife, Kathleen Peterson, was found dead at the bottom of a staircase. Countless news articles (and wikipedia) can tell you a lot more, but I’ll leave it at that—the less you know, the better.

Directed by Jean-Xavier Lestrade, The Staircase first aired all the way back in 2003, but three new episodes will be added, bringing the total to a whopping thirteen episodes (for comparison, Making a Murderer was ten episodes long).

The series is set for release on June 8th. Hopefully, you can make it till then.

Netflix’s Mindhunter, meanwhile, may not be entirely true crime, but it’s got David Fincher and serial killers… what more do you need?
