Release updates
The Residence on Netflix is now under active development, which means the script is being written and edited with pre-production to follow. “The Residence” will include eight episodes, each lasting about 60 minutes, according to Netflix. Don’t expect a season 2 because the series is referred to in several places as a “miniseries.” Although Netflix hasn’t provided a release date for The Residence, based on the production timetable, we believe it won’t be premiered until 2024.
