By now you should have all heard about the new dark and twisted Netflix series to hit the web.

Based on the novel of the same name by Shirley Jackson, ‘The Haunting of Hill House’ is said to be one of the scariest and entertaining shows to premier in a while. With the popularity of ‘American Horror Story’, it’s no wonder more dark, Gothic TV shows are making their debut.

I have not experienced the show yet myself, but the praise it has received has only peaked my interest further. But hey, if you’re still unsure about whether or not to check this out, just take it from the king of horror himself. Stephen King had this to say about the new Netflix special:

Well there you have it folks! I think this is the confirmation we all needed that this show NEEDS to be watched. I know what I’ll be doing all weekend. Netflix and chill, except without the chill part because horror. I can’t really see a lot of chilling happening during this show. Alas, I digress, watch the show and tell me what you think!

If you’re a horror super fan, you have to check out this list of horror films on Netflix.
